Why do we love Fall so much?
Well, here at Residential Concepts, Inc., it’s a time we get to embrace new opportunities and experiences with the season that brings a sense of nostalgia, comfort, and safety.
Enjoying Local Community Activities
With warmer temperatures lingering through much of October, we were given more time to enjoy community outdoor Fall festivities. From apple picking at Pringles Orchard, a hayride at Shaw Farms, and then weaving our way through the corn maze at Blooms and Berries Farm Market & Garden center, our participants thoroughly enjoyed attending our local Fall events.
Participants at the day program also enjoyed selecting recipes for making themed Fall and Halloween desserts and drinks such as, “Mini-Apple Pies,” “Pumpkin Pie Dump Cake,” “Witch’s Brew,” and “Cookies and Scream Spider Cupcakes.” They also enjoyed making Fall and Halloween-themed crafts such as, “Jar Ring Pumpkins,” “Autumn Tree Paintings,” “Haunted Wreaths,” “Spider Magnets,” “Halloween Sensory Boxes,” and “Cheese Cloth and Starch Ghosts” to name a few.
With October fun in full swing at the adult day program, the feelings of excitement for the upcoming months and holidays are undeniable!
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’re here to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.
